 Why is “Boys Night Out” important?

“Boys Night Out” is an opportunity for 8th grade boys from CMS, IMS, and MMS to interact, build positive relationships, and hear important information regarding various topics. Students will also participate in team building activities as well as hear a motivating message about overcoming adversity.   

 

 

How do the 8th grade boys sign up to attend the “Boys Night Out” event?

The high school facilitators will visit all three middle schools to share information about the program with 8th grade boys and encourage them to register. The visits will take place at IMS on January 6th, MMS January 9th, and CMS on January 13th. Registration forms will be given to students at this time and can also be accessed online. The cost of Boys Night Out is $10 to cover all expenses for speakers, t-shirts, and food. 8th grade boys who register receive detailed information at the informational meeting. Details are also posted on the NASD website.

 

When is “Boys Night Out”?

The event is scheduled for Friday, February 10, 2017. It begins at 3:00 p.m. and ends at 7:45 p.m. 8th Grade boys who are participating in the “Boys Night Out”will be bused to NAI for this event. In the event of snow/emergency, the makeup date for “Boys Night Out” will be announced.

 

 

Where is “Boys Night Out”?

It takes place at North Allegheny Intermediate School

 

 

How do I sign up?

Registration for “Boys Night Out” will take place at each middle school on Thursday, January 19th, during homeroom. The registration and medical forms will be given to boys in advance and can also be found by clicking the link below. A registration form, health form, and check for $10 (made payable to Marshall Middle School) will need turned in during homeroom on January 19, 2017. All three items must be submitted at the same time. If something is missing, it can be turned in to the front office the following day.

 Registrations will not be taken after 12pm, Friday, January 20, 2017.
